He deserves it though, he was an early adopter of podcasts, I remember nikkas used to clown him for streaming on ustream back in the day then making his podcast, now everybody is doing it. Most wouldht have had the heart to keep going getting clowned like that.

Joe spearheaded streaming live in a way and utilized the internet in ways most rappers wouldn't. Way before podcasts. What he did wasn't a podcast. It was closer to Kai Cenat and Akademiks. It was a combination of that and his mood Muzik series opening up a lane for rappers to be real people not just larger than life characters. Joe has a cult audience that came for his relatable music about life. Not a large base but a solid one.

"Wouldn't have the hear to keep going getting clowned" and thats the issue. Rap culture is still so engrossed in being unreal. Joe was a real flawed human being in his music and his personal life. People clowned and also envied him. Make sense of that

nikkas will clown and I personally don't fukk with the pod like that, I really am a fan of Joe the rapper and he wouldn't have what he has now without that component.

Now of course there are degrees to what/who is legendary, but I'd say he qualifies as someone noteworthy in Hip Hop history and it's all predicated on his pen.

You can’t say he’s right place right time because Joey was WAY ahead of the curve when it came to all of this. He was the vlogging before other rappers, doing podcasts before other rappers, doing reality TV before other rappers, being independent with his work way before most other east coast rappers. He did all of these things when it was considered corny and got clowned for it because people just looked at him as a failed rapper. He put in even more than the work necessary to get the success, this isn’t some lucky shyt.
