same sh*t in NYC back in the 90s. it was always some young asian kid behind the counter wearing a fitted or 05 jersey, while the older dad was behind him looking around, making sure everyone was "hurry up and buy"here in boston, when hip hop/street-themed clothing - rocawear, avirex, enyce, mecca, etc. - was popular, they owned all the stores that sold those brands. even now, the sneaker reseller shops are primarily owned by asians.
AWOL in allston is a good example.
