Eh. For as much shyt as Nintendo gets for sticking to the same games they do manage to make them purely enjoyable for the most part. There's a reason we're 100 Mario adventure games deep and they still manage to feel fresh.
Think people that enjoy Nintendo products genuinely feel that way. Especially knowing Nintendo won't usually release a half-assed/downgraded feeling game like we've seen a few times already on the X1/PS4.

When you speak of downgrades you're talking about Ubisoft.
Sony/Microsoft owners never have to play a Ubisoft game
Nintendo Stans have to play and love whatever Nointendo drops because you don't have any other options on the system

But they could very easily just not buy the system. I think the people that are buying these systems have some genuine appreciation or love for Nintendo games. Most Switch owners I know, online and IRL, have a PS4 or X1. They're buying the Nintendo products because of a genuine appreciation for them.
I don't fully disagree with you here btw, but I also think at this point we fully know what Ninendo is offering.
