I left NY when I was about 5 and moved to Florida. I went to visit NY for Christmas when I was 15.
When I finally saw snow for the first time in years I was
I moved to NY in 2011 and there was a blizzard and after the snow stated to melt away it was piled up in big pieces of dirty ice on the side of the road. Ruined my all my shoes.
Nastiest crap I've ever seen but thank God it's only snowed twice since then.

It's the truth nothing was better then snow when you were a kid sleading, snowball fights, missing school it was all great. Now it's slow driving and shoveling just a huge annoyance. I'm fine with cold winters but man the snow drives me crazy.

it doesnt snow enuf here in dallas for me to hate it, but when it does me and the kids are out in it throwing snowballs at each other. makes for fun times.

There was a point in time where if questioned about my favorite season I'd waver between winter and summer. I mean winter had snowball fights, skiing, ice skating and snow days... Summer had beaches, bikinis, theme parks you know. Now winter has lost it's luster. Once Christmas, which is the 3rd day of winter passes by I'm kinda ready for the whole winter thing to end.
