its pretty difficult to become a cop in the dallas area. people apply from all over the state, and out of state, many of them with bachelors degrees or military experience. they require at least 60 college hours im pretty sure, but like i said many people have more than that plus experience.

depends. some places at least 30, some require a bachelors. background checks are killer though. anything you have ever done they will find out about no bullshyt
