I ALWAYS CHUCKLE WHEN WE TRY TO EXPLAIN ADVANCED CIVILIZATIONS USING OUR METRICS. RARELY SEE ANYBODY CONSIDER THE POSSIBILITY THAT OUR NUMBERS/LIMITS MIGHT NOT APPLY TO THEM.

Exactly. We've talked about this in some other thread. It makes sense that we use the tools that we have, but those tools are severlly limited to our perception and our physical capabilties. So any "conclusion" we should always be extremely humble and realize that our mental and scientific tools to even think/study these things are limited. I mean 150 years ago PLANES didn't even exist.

They could perceive things in a different manner, we see time as a sequence of events they could possible see multiple streams of information simultaneously to get an extra sensory picture we couldn’t dream up.
