I was just watching the video to Presidents and they threw all those subliminals at the end of the video...:why:

Why not just name names? :why:

How are you taking the righteous route, not go back and forth on wax but then throw subliminals...:why:

Why gossip around your friends over drinks and board games like women? :why:

there was no reason to go after the Wu or BCC. the WU nor BCC ever had issues with the west. never popped off at that mouth about the best coast

L.A was on some studio thug ra ra ra attention whoring, that wasn't NY style...until 50 used pacs formula
there was nothing Studio thug about it.

the East Coast has been disrespecting everyone elses music for years. i dont care how many of yall tell me you heard a couple of west coast joints back in the day on Ny radio. for the most part they were not playing it like that. it was 95% east coast hiphop. dont get me wrong back in the 80's and 90's east coast had enough quality hiphop to never look outside of itself. but the point is the east was not accepting of other regions. until dr dre came thru and blew up the seen with G-thang. dudes from the west remember how they were treated prior to that blowing up. so they already had animosity built up. Cube got his sound from PE, but even he knew they were not playing that west coast music like they probably should've been. you have to realize. L.A. radio specifically was probably the best radio in the US back in the late 80's thru the 90's for hiphop. because they played EVERYTHING. everybody got some shine. the bay area(who no one plays), the south(before they were the main region), a ton of east coast music, and the midwest as well.

thats because L.A. is the home to people from all over the US. so to make everyone happy, you have to play a little bit of everything.

thats what started the issues and thats why the west was going so hard.

At the time it was CRAZY to even say another rappers name on a track. Biggie even subliminally called 2pac crazy on Long Kiss Goodnight. Biggie only just got rich and Jay Z was brand new, they didn't want to take the risk. Pac even made NAS cry on the 7 Day Theory

"I will remain, ahead of you guys, and ain't nothing gonna change that, dead or alive
Any ill feelings I harbor, y'all can blame it on the Vibe
Don't know when to let go and let young souls die
See a nikka dissing me ain't nothing new, understand
But it's how I retaliate which defines who I am
Jay-Z, ain't nothing dead or alive playing me
I take my beef to the grave that's how my momma raised me
She said fight in your afterlife, never revamp your story
So heaven or hell nikkas better have some answers for me
Hollering shyt from '89, Hawaiian Sofi? God damn y'all be on my dikk a long time"
