We had to bottom out, clean up our roster of bad contracts and get a competent GM. At least you guys should still have some of your draft picks during your bottoming out over the next year or two. Seemingly everypick from 2005-2009 was traded prior or off the roster come 2010-2011 season.

Good thing is, you don't have much long term commitments. Roster turnover could be quick given that Kobe is your only significant long term signing (even that is only 2 years) and Nash is gone by next year.

It's the circle of life, I've come to accept it we're some shyt, the one thing that could've saved us failed us because our idiot team and gm couldn't tank properly. We hired mike brown, and then outdid ourselves and hired f'ucktoni. I have no faith they'll bring anyone in that's worthy, its like I been saying he whole front office is a detriment to the franchise. If the whole buss fam and mitch could get pushed out and replaced with Dr. Soon and a competent front office we'll be back to business.

I said a long time ago that ownership and management is everything in the NBA. Seeing Laker fans go from having dreams of Wiggins and Exum to now hoping for Smart or McDermott is a perfect example of that. Smart management knows how to tank, why let Pau win games for y'all when you could've sat his ass to tank properly.

Kind of disappointed in the LWO. I expect this type of talk and attitude from Knicks and TWolves fans because they are loser franchises but not from the LWO. Heat and LWO beef aside, the Lakers are a proud franchise with one of the greatest histories in sports. You guys sitting here looking like Charlie Brown after Lucy snatched the football away. Since when have the Lakers needed to rely on lottery picks to rebound? Never.
