leo is a good actor i have been impressed with him since romeo+juilette but his not a great actor he picks great movies and great directors to work with thats his thing so his been in great movies but his a good actor thats about it.

for example in the departed matt damon, jack nicholson even alec baldwin wiped the floor with him. in the great gatsby Joel Edgerton was the star with an incredible performance. i will always watch leo's films because he only works with the best so you know you are going to get something good.

i havent watched the revenant yet i seen the trailers and read the thread its just the movie looks like a chore to me but since people have been raving about tom hardys performance i think i will check it out. leo is not even top 10 actor although his got one of the best catalogues.
