Racial insensitivity is a motherfukker. I don't see how anyone one who interracial dates can be "color blind". When you're getting together with a white person (applies to both POC both male and female), expect them (the majority of whites) to do or say some racist shyt, fetishize you, or just not understand. I don't see why she's surprised about her previous white partners calling her a racial slur. If she was woke, she would expect some of that fukkery. And if she had any self-esteem, She wouldn't seek validation from white people, nor would she put up with him calling her racial slurs or stay in that toxic interracial relationship. Like, how do you ignore the red flags????

I mean they're going to do what you allow them to do. Obviously if it gets to that point, you should leave and I'm sure there were warning signs of the such before then. But if you allow it to continue, that's on you.

I don't knock what another person does, but as a proud black man I just couldn't see myself with a white person long term. Interracial relationship with a woman of another minority group? Sure. But the dynamic of an interracial relationship with a white person just seems like more stress than it is worth. Got to deal with them not being able to understand you when it comes to modern day institutional racism, got to deal with their friends/family not accepting you, got to deal with possibly being nothing more than a fetish, playing down your personality to show that you aren't like "them", I could go on and on. Not too long ago we couldn't even use the same bathrooms so let's stop pretending like there aren't going some hang ups if you get in a relationship with these people.

Relationships are already hard enough, I don't need all that other BS just for some pale skin. Dating white people and not expecting issues is like dating a former prostitute and not expecting issues. Yeah, it could theoretically work out, but you're rolling the dice here.
