Feels like a lifetime ago to me but I remember that night and then the next day trying to find out as much as I could on the internet. So many things have changed since then.
I haven't really tried watching any of his matches but I usually don't re-watch any wrestling footage anymore aside from random links posted here and certain docs on Netflix.

That was tough, I felt even worse because I kept picturing Chris from the RIP Eddie episode. Just seemed like a broken man watching him break down on that show.

Still got the Benoit DVD...catching dust in this day and age. Unbelievable that it all had to end like this.

Some fukked up shyt, I was a fan of him as well. When HHH tapped to the crossface I had the legit 
face. Dude worked hard all his career it was nice to see him get a title. What he did was fukking terrible though and I think Vince went the right route with just erasing him from the 'E library.

It was weird to watch that show...and it kinda became clear by the end that they had changed their feelings on the situation. At the beginning it was nothing but praise from the wrestlers and by JR & Lawler. By the end, JR was stressing to keep in mind that the show was a tribute to Benoit's achievements as a wrestler. That Regal segment brought the point home.
My sister called it from the get-go. She doesn't even watch wrestling or know who he is, but soon as I said what happened to him, she said "the whole family? that sounds like some murder/suicide shyt". I was thinkin' more along the lines that they all were killed by someone. By the time they started taking the tribute shyt down on the website, it pretty much gave it away.

Cosign....really no other way around it .. even showing his matches could be seen as support.... only really fukked thing as a fan is he was in many of the best matches over the past 15 years
