On Kodi and those Terrerium TV apps, YES they are.

I believe it’s been said that a lot of people pirate because the stuff they want to watch isn’t easily available. If you provide the content people want, make it easy to access, and provide it at a fair price, more people would pay for it rather than pirate.

Same here, I have Kodi.

I had my 7 and 8 year old little cousins over last weekend, if I gave them my PS4 controller and told them to watch something on Netflix they'd do it, no problem.

If I gave them my universal remote that's synced with my Shield and told them to watch something, they'd look at me like:gucci:

The average person isn't buying a fire stick, learning how to sideload Kodi, researching the correct add-ons to install, researching VPNs, installing a VPN on the fire stick, researching a premium service like Real Debrid, and staying up to date on when certain add-ons are discontinued, when they can just pay their $10 a month for a streaming service where they're guaranteed availability, quality and convenience.

Even when I had a fire stick, there was nothing worse then trying to watch something and finding out an add-on wasn't being updated anymore or having to sideload a new version of Kodi. Be relaxed at 10 at night ready to throw on a movie then end up with the :unimpressed:

All facts. There used to be many a night back in the day where my lady and I would get settled in to watch something I bootlegged, only.tonfons out that there was a software issue, or the file I downloaded was mislabeled, or had some weird a/v issue, or whatever else. Paying the relatively small amount each month for a streaming service is worth the pure convenience.

Sports brehs, how is ESPN+? That $12.99 triple package with Disney+/Hulu look kinda nice :patrice:

Personally, I really enjoy it.

If you lay out the sheer volume of content you get access to for the amount you're paying, it's absolutely absurd. I'm not exaggerating when I say that there's some live event on ESPN+ at all times.

Only catch is that if you go into it thinking you're getting major stuff like extra NFL/NBA/high end college games, you're going to be disappointed. During the summer, there's a baseball game on every night. If you like hockey, same there for right now. There's almost always soccer on at some point.

You also get access to ALL of the 30 for 30s, and their ESPN+ exclusive shows, which are hit and miss. ESPN Insider got replaced with +, so you get access to about a third of the articles on ESPN, since most of the ones that aren't basic recaps of stuff you already know are behind the paywall.

Where I get my most value is out of boxing/MMA. They STAY with a card during the summer/fall in ESPN+. It's not always big names, it if you just want to watch some fights, they're there. They've also got a pretty healthy archive of boxing/MMA, too. And if you want to be extra frugal, they have UFC PPVs up the week after for free like HBO used to do.

I signed up for it a year ago just to test out their fantasy football tools, and haven't regretted it once. More than I can say for a lot of purchases I've made.:ehh:

People that download entertainment are becoming insufferable at this point

it’s like the only thing in their life that can be proud of is that they don’t pay for music or TV

The idea of having dark-wing duck and gargoyles are cool...but as an adult, I’m not watching that shyt beyond 10 min:francis:

Gargoyles was lame, and the only cool thing about darkwing duck was the theme song:yeshrug:
Gargoyles was the truth man that hurt
:mjcry:
Gargoyle was the Saturday morning cartoon appetizer, it came on first. You watched it and enjoyed it enough that you weren't impatient waiting for X-men or Spider-man to come on.

I actually agreed with y'all & had the same meh opinions on "Gargoyles" when I was kid in the 90's. But I rewatched it as an adult several years ago. "Gargoyles" is a show that holds up great & I completely slept on it growing up. You can watch "Gargoyles" comfortably as an adult. It's from the same producer/writer that does "Young Justice", Greg Weisman.

:francis: As far as "Darkwing Duck", I've been telling brehs in The Film Room for years that most of those those 90's Disney cartoons do not hold up as well as the 90's Warner Bros. cartoons.

I have Kodi but anyone that uses Kodi knows shyt can be labeled wrong, buffer/quality issues ect. Plus if someone got kids ain’t nobody trying to teach a 7 year old how to navigate kodi :dead:

it’s about connivence and guaranteed quality
