Very unlikely to happen. these aren't some fragile VC investors looking for their quick 10x. The biggest players are the multi-billion dollar big tech companies with lots of cash flow from other parts of their businesses. And they're all racing to build out infrastructure for their business. this is nothing like dot-comI just watched this earlier. I was always curious about all the money that you see being dumped into A.I but there isn't a viable product on the market. Add in competition and the cost for A.I tokens has plummeted significantly... But the cost for the infrastructure and maintaining these systems has only ticked upwards. It's literally waiting on investors to finally pull out funds and the entire market will collapse on itself.
Demand in enterprise space is booming and Anthropic is doing double digit billions in revenue, so 'there isn't a viable product' really isn't true either.
no doubt some startups like OpenAI could get gobbled up if they flounder. but the big tech players aren't going anywhere
