How would you compare ease of use between turbo tax and free tax USA?

Turbo tax is easier. You can just upload your w-2 no need to type everything in.

I used to have this same situation when my pops was alive, but I stopped using him many years ago because he'd obviously prioritize other people over my tax return.

He finessed the hell out of that tax return. He was adding all kinds of reductions, and credits. This is why rich people win. They have people who can finesse how much they make and contribute. Just hope you don’t get caught.

Anyone know if freetaxusa can handle crypto? TurboTax let's me import my tax document from Coinbase so I don't have to crunch any numbers.

TurboTax is quick and easy but I end up paying like $150 because they add on the crypto charge.

Yes, I got my document from Coinbase and plugged it into Free Tax USA with no problem or extra charge.

Yes, I got my document from Coinbase and plugged it into Free Tax USA with no problem or extra charge.

Did it automatically calculate everything? Usually with TT it ends up asking me to input more numbers or I have to say what's a withdrawal or deposit for some of the transactions. I didn't buy or sell anything last year so hopefully I can avoid that.
