I only know him from when he was at a Monday night Raw show & the Rock had him on camera. Othewise, I Wouldn't know his name. Oh, and he was on an episode of the Disney show the Jersey. Like @Don Rhymus said, once he left his team won the series... That's gotta burn the soul.

I think he made an appearance on SNL in the sketch Jimmy Fallon & Rachel Dratch.

His squad dropped him and then won world series', and he was retired and commentating while his contemporaries in A-Rod and Jeter produced for almost another decade.

Its Bostons job to celebrate him and they dont because they finally broke through after him
He was always better than Jeter:francis:

By the time that trade happened he was already broken down sadly

He doesn't get his props like he should but I think a lot of that is cause he got injured a lot as he got in his mid 20's and the fans are so fickle that they will forget about you in a heartbeat. Nomar probably would have been headed to the Hall without the injuries and I would have liked to see how his numbers would have stacked up with Jeter's and A-Rod's if he could have stayed injury free.

Straight out the fukkin' dungeons of rap
Nomar's first 7 seasons .328/.375/.562/.937. That OPS and SLG is first among SS in their 1st 7 seasons OF ALL TIME. A-rod was close with .934 OPS and .561 SLG.

He still ended with a .313 average after the "falling off". But even during the "fall off" he was batting .280. Nomar was a monster.

he was getting injured big time after the roid era was closing in...he was always a good avg/obp hitter, but injuries did him in. I remember he came back for one really good year with the dodgers....and then was basically done
