he was getting injured big time after the roid era was closing in...he was always a good avg/obp hitter, but injuries did him in. I remember he came back for one really good year with the dodgers....and then was basically done

ROIDS BROKE HIS BODY DOWN.

THEYRE TRYING TO ERASE EVERYONE FROM THAT ERA.

How you gonna ROFL with a hollow back?
His squad dropped him and then won world series', and he was retired and commentating while his contemporaries in A-Rod and Jeter produced for almost another decade.

Its Bostons job to celebrate him and they dont because they finally broke through after him
At the time I was a life long Red Sox fan, fukking die hard, and it was one game in particular, vs the Yankees, where Nomar was completely disengaged, mailing it in, and Jeter went and chased a meaningless out of bounds ball into the stands, got his sh!t fukked up, and you could just feel the whole fukkings world view of the two shift completely, Boston fans included. I don't fukk with the Red Sox at all anymore, or baseball for that matter, but I will never forget that sh!t.

I believe he and Mo Vaughn were on the same squad. That Red Sox team was solid but didn't have enough arms or depth to compete with the Yanks. They only had Pedro who would shut it down every five days but between his starts... nah.

Funny though how once the Red Sox decided to spend like the Yanks they ended up doing it better than the Yanks do. Plus the Sox farm system is brilliant whereas the Yanks farm system ain't been shyt since Jeter and Bernie were young.

Boston's farm system is wild overrated. They were doing it better at their peak but besides Xander and Mookie all they have are names that don't amount to shyt. Last good run they had was the Lester/Pedroia/Ellsbury/Buchholz/Papelbon era 06-09

Hate the Red Sox, but Nomar was that dude. Was fun watching him, Jeter, and A-Rod, and Tejada all play SS.

His prime was great, unfortunately it was a short one. Once Boston dropped him, he never was the same (injuries
lol this fool Tejada got caught using steroids 3 times
