It's like NYC acting like the Ja Rule era didn't exist.

I like Ja Rule. Ja Rule's bubble gum songs>>>>50 Cent's bubble gum songs.

Honestly, I don't believe 50 Cent destroyed Murder INC cause he was doing fine with R.U.L.E. dropped....s What ruined Murder Inc was FBI...the idiot IRV Gott doing work with Supreme (Drug Lord)......that's a biggest bad move by Irv Gotti.

:whoo::whoo::whoo:
nikka, I'm, living my live, fukking your wife
Bending her up, while I'm holla red and I don't give a fukk
So I move like like it such, and ya'll can't get enough, of the murderers
It'll murda ya'll, nikka, what, what,
I know yall are ready to die, know why
Cause the pain is too much to bare while alive
So I cock my nine, then close my eyes
Take another hit and then crip and blow minds
These are hard times nikkas, in these streets and bust blind
Out of fear, out of dispair, but never in the air
We gonna take this, Point Blank range in your Range Rover
Pistol with the kids and rape your stray hoe
We the Murderers, yo, what you expect from us,
We nikkas you can't trust, that don't really give a fukk,
We dedicated to street life, game and hustle,
I dont wanna be White,
let them black and live for struggle
My nikkas tow guns for hittin you and your squad up,
Now we got the upper hand so keep your palms up
nikkas, if you want it with Ja come in and line up
Guaranteed, you be meeting your maker when you times up
Negative, I can go into the streets we live
Paper, foreign nikkas be murdering shyt
So what, what, nikkas is holla, yo what up
Murda Inc. is the movement that won't be touched
Motherfukkers, ya hear me, Murder Inc. nikkas
Cause if you don't give a fukk like we don't give a fukk
Throw your motherfukking fingers in the air!

edit* Lyrics are a bit off...damn who writes these damn things...HOLLA RED BREH REALLY? It's "Hollerin" :beli:

I always thought Ja put out better music than 50...I was like the only nikka on the planet that didn't like GRODT yet I stayed bumping 50s mixtape shyt...Most of 50s pop records was garbage/corny to me....Ja's shyt still sound fresh

I can agree about 50's pop tracks, but GRODT is a classic. Pretty hard to deny it at this point imo

lol this thread is made every few months. the Ja era existed and he made some hits, but he came in the game as a DMX clone, turned into an R&B thug, then when he started pretending he was Pac people had enough of it. 50 picked the perfect time to stomp him out.

as far as top 5 from NY, hell naw. but his radio hits :lawd:

I agree with most of this, except I always thought he was a 2Pac and DMX Clone at the same time. When I first saw him it was in the "Can I Get A" video, and I remember thinking he was trying to look exactly like 2Pac.

Can I Get A... - YouTube

:lolbron:

I wouldn't say he gave it to him. That was moreso the producer of the track. Ja Rule was thrown in to hype up the next group of Def Jam artists coming out and because Irv Gotti produced the track.

PS: Again, you can't tell me he wasn't trying to copy 2Pac's look in this video.
