yeah the visionary concepts behind Exeggcute and Voltrob from Gen 1 was so dope as opposed to now

Not everyone made it to gen 3, I did but most of the people that put me on to Pokémon as a jit never bought a GBA so Crystal is where most people born in '92 or before stopped. If you didn't play Gold/Silver/Crystal back then you lost. Probably the best of the series to this date other than maybe Colosseum

What's hilarious is that I never realized I played (and owned) pokemon gold until a few weeks ago. I played a little bit of it on an emulator and vaguely remember some parts I played as a kid.

Pokemon was finished after Gold/Silver. I had Silver. I bought Ruby and played the whole way through, and it was one of the most boring experiences of my life. Very lazy game design and I swear it got easier and felt even kiddier than before (I looked at old Gold/Silver YouTube videos just to make sure nostalgia wasn't blinding me).

Real nikkas figured out you gotta get a Caterpie to at least level 12 before you fight Brock. Save Pikachu for Misty



I miss those days but real nikkas ain't played shyt since Crystal. Maybe Fire Red and Leaf Green if you was feeling a lil nodtalgic

Pokemon still sells a huge amount.

Pokemon X and Y sold almost 15 million copies.

If anything they should sort of advertise the games through Pokemon Go or something. Like perhaps you can transfer pokemon from Sun and Moon to the mobile game.
