You really think buying a a dime of weed a week keeping them poor?

We'll a dime a week is a pretty low number but that still adds up to 40 a month 520 a year.

Take into fact that even the brokest pothead probably spends at least 20 a week on weed. That's 80 a month 1040 a year?

Im not making up anything I say in this thread, I knew a nikkas that was living out a storage unit with his son and still found ways to be able to buy weed.

Most nikkas don't have nearly the same drive they have for obtaining their vices toward bettering themselves. But it makes sense, because a vice is an instant reward, while investing in yourself is a long term thing where you pay money then have to work hard to better yourself on top of it, like a gym membership. You spend money to be able to go to the gym and work your ass off for months to see a reward.

That's a small way of looking at it.

The point is reworking your priorities, and changing your lifestyle focusing on ways to change.

Putting your vices first completely contradicts that. If you can put your money first, savings and stuff and THEN be able to support your vices then that's different

I think some do...some will leave something for their kids to build off of and it can improve from then on.

People in the US take too much shyt for granted. You can save money over here, I've heard of people buying houses from saved money from collecting bottles and cans, but nobody really wants to lower themselves to that level and slow grind in order to come up. Not everybody deserves to be rich. And I have no sympathy for people who make bad financial decisions and get into debt, that's on them.

And look at the last sentence in the OP. If your situation is so bad, why are you patting yourself on the back? Typical forever broke mentality - "it's not on me, it's on everyone else, I'm so great so somebody must be holding me down if I'm fukked up." Poor people are the most creative and smart people? yeah ok. Some are, and they eventually get out of the rut, if not they pass their values on to their children who do. Most aren't though, and that's the blunt reality.

I walk all the time.

Many homeless people remain in a localized area of about 10 blocks and catch the bus when going long distances.

Or they lay on the ground for long durations.

Homeless are poor examples for any standard of excercise. LA is filled with homeless... none of them in any type of shape.

Its fairly common knowledge. Homeless ppl aren't doing 2k walks for no reason. They find a spot they consider safe with enough foot traffic to panhandle and they post up, or they sleep. If they are going anywhere far they catch the bus.

I'm not capping at all, I'm stating pure facts. You all just have made up your minds based on some made up stories. There have been stats posted and there are countless articles explaining why people are poor and why it's almost impossible to get out. But y'all just chose to ignore reality and facts. It's like talking to a wall.

The majority of poor and other lower income people work hard and a lot, they have no choice but to or else they really won't survive. And y'all need to stop acting like anyone is complacent with being poor, struggling isn't fun, there are no rewards to it and it's depressing. The people who you think are "complacent" are often beat down and lost hope after a long battle trying to make it. But like I said, no use trying to get you see this, you already made up your mind about them. I'm done here.
