Catering is cool because you can make it a side hustle or a full time gig. My barber and his boy who is also a barber at the same shop was doing catering straight out one of they cribs. They turned the barber shop into a legit fish dinner/chicken dinner pick up spot.

Cmon brah, I'm usually on the same page with most of your posts but this is some bullshyt. I hate when black people get on this self pity nonsense. It may not be as easy for us as them cac folks but it ain't impossible.

I'm 26, when I graduated high school, I went to a trade school to become an electrician. For those first 3 years, I worked and networked with tons of people. Then began doing side jobs and building my clientele.
I got so much clients that I hired other dudes that I knew to help out.
To make a long story short, within 8 years, I now have my own electrician business, fully licensed, fully black owned. Proud to say with all black employees and making enough money to not have to work if I don't want to..

Not bragging just wanna motivate my brothers so please understand it's not impossible

You are not the average black person. Stop with that whole bootstrap nonsense and look at the reality. Black people mentally and financially are not in the position to even think about starting a business. We are the least educated, the least wealthy, the most imprisoned, and on and on. We're at the point where a black man who doesn't have a criminal record and a baby mama is considered a catch.
