Exactly regardless of 'they'll still look at us the same' I don't give a shyt, it's about our group learning within itself that we have complexities.
I find it strange that within certain groups, you have 'hipsters, surfers, rockers, ravers, liberals, rednecks, conservatives, yuppies, etc'.
name more than 5 different black groups.
are you trying to tell me we all just listen to hip hop and dress the same.
that sounds like a huge problem, tf are we not capable of individual thoughts? that's the problem, as soon as a black person does something different, the rest of the group look at him like he's weird and off. That means we're quite close minded as a people. And this needs to be addressed. Not all black people dress 'swagged out' or hiphop, not all of us eat soul food, not all of us rep a hood. We are a complex group of people, and the rest of the world should learn that, but first, WE need to acknowledge it.
