Yeah it all comes down to power dynamics. I think all of them were fired and that was fair, but in her accusations she’s saying the whole thing was sanctioned and encouraged all the way up to the chief of police. If that is true, then they hold some responsibility as well.

Honestly, if the case doesn't get dismissed right away, she's almost guaranteed to get a settlement, which is why the lawyer probably took the case anyway. Police departments, cities, etc offer settlements just to save money, because it costs so much more to go to trial. You're talking about at least 10 witnesses, depositions, discovery, evidence, etc, that shyt adds up real quickShe might be able to get some settlement money
