as for reg season: I don't know if I'd call it playing possum....I think that's just cause they've reached that level of 'ship or bust'....yea, you can tell they coast at times and figure them stepping on the floor with natural talent is good enough to get them Ws, but once you reach ship or bust thinking, that's all that matters....
as for the playoffs: I think they use the first game to test how hard they gonna have to play for that series for the most part....they play at a certain level and see if they need to play harder than that....they play just like a younger spurs, how the spurs used to play.....

We been telling yall they were coasting. Miami understands the grind. It's a long season. They've been here 4 years in a row, you don't think they know what they're doing by now? Bulls and Pacers going all out only to exhaust themselves come playoffs.

As a Wizards fan shyt blows my mind. We just aren't good enough to give a game away trying to get a pulse of how hard we have to play to beat a team. The way the pacers talked about that next level they shift into when they get focused
and even Bron talking that levels talk at the end of the pacers series. I'm really enjoying their little run as a fan of the game.
They are playing in the wrong era. They belong in the 90s. I would love to see them battle a team for 60 mins on ultra focused night in and night out
