I have an agenda specifically for black folks, and actually win.

We all agree it’s needed. But it’s all about the dialogue we have to pay attention to, it has to be coded and read between the lines.

I’m just starting to do my due diligence on all these candidates...we should definitely keep the pressure on them about having specific policies that will benefit us....but looking for any of these candidates to openly say it in a public forum is never going to happen

Well we will stand our ground and make it realistic. Gays and jews can trip over a rock and get laws changed within a week. No more soft shoe. We gotta make it uncomfortable for them.

black issues are way different than other groups in this country so shyt has to be specific.

But you’re missing my point.

We live in a racist ass country, where white ppl are the majority by far. No candidate is winning an presidential election saying he/she is going to propose bills that are exclusive to the plight of black ppl.

Maybe 2 presidential terms down the line if we continue putting on that pressure.

But this current election....it’s not happening.

It's a matter an overtly "black" anything in this country is going to be polarizing and draw unnecessary attention/opposition. Same logic behind black owned businesses. You open up "The BLACK grocery store" you have cut your earning potential significantly because of pride. You open up the store without making a big deal out of black this and that, flourish, open another, have a chain of black owned businesses now you've accomplished your goal without having a target on your back or losing support.

It would be nice if we lived in a country where someone could do that blatantly without whites and other so called "POC" withdrawing the support needed to get them in office but that's not the case, you want recognition or results?
