The only way to tell how good an album will be is to see how good the mixtapes/singles/non-album cuts that spinoff from the album are. You're only as good as your last record. Any recent music the artist releases is the indicator of how good the album will be.

Drake has been dropping consistent + high-quality tunes just with the singles & non-album cuts (Started From The Bottom, 5AM In Toronto, Jodeci Back, Versace Remix, The Motion, etc.) so that could only mean one thing.

Wale, Jay, Kanye, J. Cole, Mac Miller, A$AP, all of them dropped amazing, 4 mic albums, but I think Drake is gonna push it a lil further.

Killah Priest dropped one hell of a double album
Joey Bada$$ dropped Summer Knights, that I've in rotation ever since it came out, and I enjoy most of the songs on there.

I have a feeling that Drake is gonna drop a mediocre album as well lol. The stars seem to be against the superstars in 2013.
