Did they add new area? Lots of new gear? The gear in the game was lacking

They added 4 new weapons....one lets you drain enemies health....one randomly does more damage based on how often you attack....and two new Witcher swords. The best in the game.

They also added a new set of Witcher armor, Viper. It's also the best in the game.

The new Runewright they added is cool too. He lets you trade in Runes for special buffs on your sword.

They kinda did add new areas because to the NE of Velen they added a bunch of towns and other areas. But it's still part of Velen.

The next expansion "Blood And Wine" in the spring will have a completely new area, and be around 20 hours long.
