I never thought Calvin was "good"...just "big" and he had a QB in Stafford who would just chuck the ball up to him...
He has always been slow...his route running has always been poor...
Seen this dude get hawked down by safeties and linebackers in the open field...seen corners in his hip pocket all day...he is just so much bigger than them that he can just snag the ball out the air...but they be right on his ass...
Like watching Antonio Brown run routes and watching Megatron run routes...you'd never guess they play the same position...
Physically gifted and an athletic freak...but if the average corner was 6"2" instead of 5"10" he would be in trouble...

Like I said...I seen to many players in the open field comeback and catch him...
That game he had against the cowboys when he went for 300...would have been for 400 but somehow even when he broke away and had 5 yards head start somebody on dallas would hawk him down...and the cowboys haven't had a top 5 fastest player at any position in like...a decade...
Maybe it's conditioning...
Also dude has just completed disappeared in the red zone the last two years...
