Pony Express is flames. They were so dirty... got caught... doubled down... got caught again... tripled down.... as long as they were working with black kids and down south kids it was all good. Then they dipped in the trashy trailer parks and started signing drug addicts. The governor of Texas was involved. What's crazy is with all that cheating, they never really won anything.

Everytime I watch Pony Excess I'm dialed in like the first time I watched. So many layers to why college football is the best and also the most disgusting sport today.

Texas HS Football, especially in the 80s was nuts.

SMU could easily be a powerhouse if the NCAA wasn't all on their ass and they could drop money freely. The amount of big money dudes in Dallas (Highland Park/University Park/Preston Hollow) is ridiculous. It would have been like The U with more money and better facilities.

Dudes could win Nattys just recruiting Dallas and maybe rural East Tx. Unlike The U though....too many other schools in the Big 8 and Southwest Conference knew how much talent was nearby and they all had cash (Texas, Nebraska, Oklahoma, A&M etc.).
