The last time I entered a thread like this, I got bushed. That's why I don't post here too much anymore, but when I do, they still be long. Anyway, do y'all not know that the 70's, especially the 80's, was loaded with young White girls in movies, probably barely legal, playing high school girls showering naked in high school locker rooms, even though most of them were no names. Either this, or they were skinny dipping in a pool or river somewhere. The Blue Lagoon, starring Brooke Shields, was a prime example. She was they're dream girl, and she was only 14, swimming around naked. Then there was "Paradise", starring Phoebe Cates. She was showing it all, and took what Brooke Shields did, to another level. Although she was 17, which y'all would have a fit over, she was the one who looked more like 14. That had to be the closest thing looking like child porn ever seen at the movies, or on cable. Cable tv brought even more of this to our living rooms, however I'd haven't seen any nude Whites girls as young as Phoebe Cates on cable, or at the movies, since. Anyway, during this time, it was normal for White men to lust about high school girls, seriously. I could never understand it. They talked like high school was the time when girls were at their best. And I would hear no uproar about it at all. However, I would never really see them going after them. This was more heard on television or on the radio. Myself, and other brothers, were through with high school girls once we left high school, and went on to college girls. And older Black men were never encouraging us to chase high school girls. But I had this one college buddy who grew up in this Black kinda well to do neighborhood. Most of them don't think this way, but he kinda developed this "White Ice Is Better" mentally. Of course he didn't really believe that, or else I would have never hung with him...plus he was still pro Black, if that makes any sense. I think everybody knows somebody kinda like him. He even married somebody sorta with that mentality.
Anyway, I started hanging out with this buddy in the spring semester during my freshman year. During the weekends, we would chase girls. He had his own car, and I would ride shotgun. He would always talk about when the high school girls get out of school, and that that's when they would be out. And it didn't sound like he was talking about when they got out of high school for good, but more like when they got out of high school class for the day. It really sounded more like he was repeating some White man talk he heard on the media, or on some part time job, because he never lusted after highschool girls, and we never drove anywhere near a high school when we were chasing girls. I just know down inside, it would sort of gross me out hearing him say that. He was that type who would pass down certain things that you could tell he got from older folks, but some of it was off time. You could tell he was trying to sound like he knew more about life, especially about that catching girls getting out of high school talk, that sounded more popular in the White man's world at the time. This, combined with all those young White high school girls showering in those movies in the 70's and the 80's, left me to think that lusting after high school girls was a part of the White man's world, and I asked no questions because they ran everything. I think they still lust after them, when they feel like it.
But I'm not gonna let brothers completely off the hook. I remember some of them from all ages, as high as their 40's, were making some noise over 13 year-old Stacy Lattisaw...and they had no shame, just because she was a redbone. I didn't even indulge in those conversations.
