just get premium thru argentina. I'm paying $3 for the family plan. I can't go back to regular YT, even with ads being blocked, cuz I wanna watch that shyt on my TV without ad interruptions. if ur wondering why the price keeps changing, it's cuz I pay for the service in Argentinian pesos, which is currently suffering from hyperinflation, which continues to drop the price down. before YT raised the price, i was paying under $1 a month for the family plan :russ:

they def are implementing something that stops people from blocking ads, it’s just not rolling out to everyone at once. They experimenting with a new layout as well. People will find a way once they make that no adblock change permanent.

I never was really bothered by the ads...well maybe a little when I played music but it was whatever. Some of those ads be hella funny tho. I got a story about one

At work I usually have my earbuds in and leave my phone on a table and let YouTube autoplay. I just let the ads play through cuz I'm not about keep running back and forth to skip them. So, every now and then the "Have you or anyone you know been in a car accident?" ad would pop up, but it starts off w/ an actual car accident.

It was funny though, because the sound effect would always sound hella soft or like just a little fender bender so I'd be lmao, like ":heh:thats it, that's hella weak". So, one day I was about to actually sit down and watch something, but that ad came on and I let it play. I'm sitting there smirking like "okay, let's see this". Man when I tell you that car musta flipped somethin so crucial, it had me like :sadcam: "that shyt didn't sound nothin like that!" I was completely thrown off to say the least

Sometimes those ads really be some slappers tho. I've found a few songs I liked that way

Pretty sure you can still block ads. But I mean, Youtube is one of those things we watch hours and hours and HOURS of a month. Way more than any other streaming platform.

I have never been against paying for things I actually derive real value from. Currently youtube is providing entertainment, utility, tutorials and even decent academic content. I get less consistent value out of our fukking HBO subscription, so yeah. We don't mind paying for Youtube at this point.
:yeshrug:

:why:

No disrespect, but how in the world are you watching HOURS of YouTube a month as an adult? Outside a few podcasts and a couple of instructional videos, I hardly ever use YT.

Also- its hard to compare HBO's critically acclaimed media portfolio to YT's portfolio of MukBang and reaction videos :russ:
