ADAMS IS ACTUALLY A SKILLED POST PLAYER.

HE SHOULD DEFINITELY GET MORE TOUCHES ON THE BLOCK.

DUDE WOULD HAVE THE SCORING AND REBOUNDING NUMBERS

ON SOME 20 & 15 shyt
IF HE DIDNT SACRIFICE FOR RUSS.

True, but he also just randomly will stop doing it for reasons I don't understand. I have seen plenty of games were Adams is killing his guy on the block and russ is feeding him and out of nowhere Adams just stops going on the block and starts doing shyt like running out to set screens for Abrines or something and he just never goes back into the post for the rest of the game. And while he is good at it you can tell by his body language that he doesn't really like to score with his back to the basket, which I guess is the reason why even when he does it very successfully he just stops after awhile.

YALL MISSIN THE REAL PROBLEM

HE LOST HIS MIDRANGE GAME .. IT WAS THE ONE THING HE WAS AUTOMATIC AT. THAT QUICK LIL 13-18 FOOT PULL UP HE WAS SO GREAT AT... HE LITERALLY NEVER DOES THAT ANYMORE N THAT USED TO BE HIS GO-TO MOVE ON OFFENSE. HIS SHOT IS SO BROKE NOW THAT HIS FT% IS DOWN 20%..... AND HE’S STILL EXPLOSIVE, HE JUST DOESNT ATTACK THE SAME BECAUSE HE’S AVOIDING THE FT LINE. HE LOST WAY MORE SKILL THAN ATHLETICISM, WHICH REALLY ISNT AGE RELATED... HE PROLLY JUS GOT TOO FULL OF HIMSELF N STOPPED WORKIN ON FINETUNING HIS GAME IN THE OFFSEASON

That's an ancillary effect of losing a step.

That elbow pull-up was so devastatingly effective because defenders had to backpedal respecting his ability to get to the cup, then he could just stop on a dime and shoot. But defenses know he can't get into the paint quite as efficiently as he did.

Look at his highlights of the OKC-Lakers series in 2012. He got that shot literally all series... it was amazing to watch.

Now it's gone.

Do you watch the Thunder? Do you see many of these triple doubles come with a ton of terrible misses, and rebounds that Russ grabs after Steven Adams does the boxing out?
These fake triple doubles ain't shyt :stopitslime:

BUT HE STILL GETS TO THE PAINT AT WILL, HIS ACCURACY WIT FINISHING AT THE RIM FELL THE FUCC OFF THO AND HIS WILLINGNESS TOOK A NOSEDIVE EVER SINCE HE STARTED SHOOTING FREETHROWS LIKE SHAQ.

I think we agree here breh. His game is definitely not the same and it's tough to watch. I always figured he'd fine tune his game as he aged but that is clearly not happening.

Nah I respect his decision but I just think it's funny when people cite PG as a player that didn't want to play 'Bron ball' when he opted to play with a worse offender of that style of play.
PG is having the best season of his career playng with Russ tho, dude is a MVP candidate this year, no way he'd get that kind of shine playing with Bron.

Russ seems like a cool guy, I don't sense that Diva energy like Bron gives off.....Russ doesnt mind sharing the spotlight.

Plus there's no pressure to win in OKC, and when healthy the Thunder are a better overall team than the Lakers :manny:

I don't believe he's lost a step physically. His jumper is just broken. It also shows in his FT shooting as up until this season he was an 81% FT shooter.

According to BBallRef he's shooting 30% on jump shots. :scust:

Last year he was around 36%.
