I remain surprised that this hasn’t been a bigger scandal. The Trump admin has been moving to drop multiple prosecutions against very serious MS-13 lieutenants and leaders to avoid having them testify about Trump ally Nayib Bukele’s prior connections to the gang.

Ironically the Trump DOJ is also dropping charges on real MS-13 leaders on whom they have actual extensive evidence, in order to deport them before they can testify about their pact with Bukele. In both cases the government fears what may come out in a criminal trial.

MS-13 has funded the El Salvadore president for years. They got him elected, and he protects them. There is an actual government report verifying these facts.
