Mac Jones is getting seriously outplayed by Penix. People might be realizing that he isn't gonna throw anything deep. He's the checkdown artist people think Purdy is. Purdy is gonna make mistakes but one thing he will do is slang that bytch.

mac jones is the type of qb where you want the ball out very fast after hitting the back of your drop. either first read or checkdown rb. which works well with CMC. especially since he cant move inside the pocket. and occasionally he will see a one on one pre snap and try to get a deep shot.
