I somehow started listening to CM Punk's podcast again, realizing again just how dumb this damn company is

I guarantee that Dreamer wouldn't have passed the physical. This is someone who admitted to having so many concussions that he's already showing signs of dementia.

I honestly think that just had to do with no one giving a fukk about Dreamer lol. If he got hurt no one would even mention it. If Bryan got hurt it would be huge

It makes sense. If the WWE wants to pretend like they're protecting Bryan from concussions but will hire and allow Tommy Dreamer to wrestle in hardcore matches, there's something else going on.

It all has to do with stars and whether "the machine" backs them.

Bryan had clearly been viewed as a liability to Roman, and they don't want a Royal Rumble winner getting booed a third straight year.

Vince honestly believes that pushing Roman like Cena is worth more than letting Bryan back into the picture.

After the recent signings, I suspected this would happen, on some "We got their big names, now who's he gonna wrestle when we release him?" shyt.

I half believe this myself...but as long as Katsuyori Shibata is free, we could have a dream match yet.

Makes no sense why it would be a week from now. Unless he told them to clear him or he'd walk like Punk & they agreed, but unlike Punk he is working with them to not burn bridges on the way out.

My theory is Bryan has been telling them for awhile now, either use me, let me wrestle or release me so I can go somewhere else. WWE doesnt want him taking away from Roman's biggest superman push of all time so they've kept him on the shelf and been telling him to be patient, they have something big in the works (a lie.)

Then last week Raw happened. Those Daniel Bryan chants while cokeboy and Roman were struggling through that awful promo really got to Vince. He hit em with that "SHHHHUTUUUUP" and it was really Vince angry, not the Mr McMahon character. It really threw him off and all in all it was a terrible promo from Vince, which is unheard of. Then the straw that broke the camel's back was the immediate chants for Punk, the OTHER indy darling pest that fans just wont seem to forget about so they can cheer Roman.

It was all too much for Vince and as soon as he got backstage he said "YOU WANT YOUR RELEASE BRIAN, YOU GOT IT, YOU SONOFAbytch....YOOOURE FIIIRRRRREEEED.......I'll uh, have Paul draw up the paperwork."

And here we are today.
