The world hates to see black people with guns. They don't care if the black person is a cop, a U.S. Marine, presidential security, or a gun store salesman.
My local range had an outcry about a year and a half ago, they just had some candid pictures of classroom instruction of one of their ccw classes. It was just a corner shot from the back of the room so you could see attendance. The caption was something like "We're glad to have the trust of our local community for instruction, we will always strive to provide the best instruction, safest ranges, etc, etc"
Basically it was like 26 white people and 4 black people that could be seen and some cac was like "Doesn't look like appropriate instruction for the community...." Then the comments spiraled out of control, they didn't outright say "You shouldn't be teaching/instructing black people about guns." But that's what it led to, they circumvented that by saying "Well, I just wouldn't want to have my picture up on a gun website, advertising that I own a gun or have a ccw! It's unprofessional! Did everyone agree to be photographed? I don't open carry so I wouldn't want my picture out there."
And it was emphasised that no parties faces are even visible or identifiable, it became about how tech savvy people are and can identify people by hats and other articles of clothing.
Eventually the range just deleted all pics except for inventory/items and pics of the range. A bunch of trolls/clowns would still leave comments and say stuff like "Good prices, nice inventory, I don't think this range is for me, some of their clientele is concerning. Ive considered doing business there but will work with other businesses in the future."
