It’s quiet in New York?

I read that people from New York that get money and move to large houses with acres.. they freak out about actual silence.

You think about it: theres prolly a siren or car horn every minute. Trains. Cars. Random people yelling. Little shyt. But I'd assume it's CONSTANT.

Then they get to a place with zero human noises during the night. Just crickets and a couple frogs.

I live in Canarsie, its basically a suburb within Brooklyn So yea, its usually quiet..... until July 4th then nikkas be setting off fireworks until labor day weekend



I'd imagine southeast Queens is like this as well. My neighbor has a party once a year where they play loud music into the wee hours, its how I found out about this great song

I think this woman live in one of the Black neighborhoods in Queens which probably is quiet, she mentioned the 165th bus terminal closing, why would someone in NY who doesn't live in Queens even know or care about that?



BTW they are replacing it with new terminal across the street, it might be an improvment for bus riders as the current terminal is a literal shyt hole for my Rock Dove cousins. Wait for a bus there you better duck and I ain't talking bullets

If we chose to have intact families and pool our money together with other family members, we couldve been able afford to a buy the places we were living in. Every borough except for Manhattan has "suburban-like" residential neighborhoods.

Oh, and yeah, those Fourth of July fireworks are annoying.
