Humans turn docile like penned animals when exposed to extreme stress, the elements and in the process of starving. That’s why if you see pictures of genocides of people lining up to be shot or gassed they were likely beaten and starved before hand and your ability to resist just shuts down.


It’s why cutting supply lines is more important than capturing territory. A big reason the Ukrainians have been doing so well is the US supplied them with HIMARS which prevent Russia from building up supply depots to fuel offensives. They just blow them up once they find them.
