Wait shouldn’t reconnaissance drones make trench warfare obsolete? You can simply send out drones, find the enemy positions and annihilate them with precision mortar fire. No need to even put yourself in harms way.

Russians are fighting this war on hard mode. You can’t stupidly throw troops on the battlefield and hope for the best
Some of them Russians don't even wanna be there at all...I almost have pity for them..atleast the ones drafted and not criminals or Wagner.

All of Russia's best Generals and military knowledge died and went away after WORLD WAR 2 it appears.

They've always treated their troops as cannon fodder but the troops an Generals were usually capable.

I wonder if they have had any military excercises before this war. The NCO corps is useless which is why so many Generals have been taken out. ..plus they're fighting a war most of the troops don't even wanna be there...it's not like they're fighting for the freedom of Mother Russia...some weren't even told they were fighting Ukraine until they got sent there.

Probably why also America doesn't want US boots on the ground or why Ukraine hasn't attacked Russian soil...so they don't rally around the "For Mother Russia!"or As they have in world War 2 or Napoleon wars..or for the liberation/aid of Fellow slavs like In World War 1 with Serbia.

who would of thought 2023 you'd see trench warfare. Yikes!
As I understand Ukraine doesn't have alot of air power so I think that comes with that.

I think that is how Germany was able to stalemate world War 1. Their Fokker aircraft could shoot through the propellers(timed to not hit the props) and so they had air superiority over the battlefield.

Good video related to Russia's military state. Though, a bit too biased as far who they obviously support for my taste. But the description of the corruption and dysfunction of the Russian military is on point.

The infografics show is basically Uke Propaganda at this point but they're right about Russkie Logistics and tactics (or lack thereof)

The last time the US and the Russians scraped it was in 2018 Syria and the Russians got lit the fukk up with the only US wounded was from having thumb numbness from pressing the buttons too fast. The US has no peer.:skip:

The artillery barrage was so intense that the US commandos dived into foxholes for protection, emerging covered in flying dirt and debris to fire back at a column of tanks advancing under the heavy shelling. It was the opening salvo in a nearly four-hour assault in February by around 500 pro-Syrian government forces – including Russian mercenaries – that threatened to inflame already simmering tensions between Washington and Moscow.
In the end, 200 to 300 of the attacking fighters were killed. The others retreated under merciless air strikes from the US, returning later to retrieve their battlefield dead. None of the Americans at the small outpost in eastern Syria – about 40 by the end of the firefight – were harmed.

Half an hour later, the Russian mercenaries and Syrian forces struck.

The Conoco outpost was hit with a mixture of tank fire, large artillery and mortar rounds, the documents show. The air was filled with dust and shrapnel. The US commandos took cover, then ran behind dirt berms to fire anti-tank missiles and machine guns at the advancing column of armoured vehicles.

For the first 15 minutes, US military officials called their Russian counterparts and urged them to stop the attack. When that failed, US troops fired warning shots at a group of vehicles and a howitzer.

Still the troops advanced.

US warplanes arrived in waves, including Reaper drones, F-22 stealth fighter jets, F-15E Strike Fighters, B-52 bombers, AC-130 gunships and AH-64 Apache helicopters. For the next three hours, US officials said, scores of strikes pummelled enemy troops, tanks and other vehicles. Marine rocket artillery was fired from the ground.

Imagine US soldiers storming a trench without the entire front line being glassed for days on end while supported by round the clock air strikes and artillery fire. Imagine infantry advancing without tank support. :heh:

Compare the US military to a bunch of barely trained convicts in a country where the life expectancy for males is 60 and the leading cause of death is alcohol poisoning.
All empires come to an end...We aren't invincible

All it takes is one press of a Russia nuke and fukk our grid up and water grid for 2 weeks and this country is likely in chaos.

This is pathetic. :skip: Just take theL comrade.

Both sides had open communication in Syria as to prevent bombing the other by accident and creating an international incident. This was widely reported on at the time.

Minimal damage? The entire attacking force was wiped out. :unimpressed:Are you on drugs breh?

Nope. The US has over 1,000 5th generation stealth aircraft designed specifically to avoid detection from ground attack missiles. As explained to you before during the Gulf War the US flooded the AO with dummy drones that confused the Soviet missile systems and then went in jet fighters and destroyed all the sites. The US has over 14,000 fixed wing aircraft it can deploy to any theater which will massively overwhelm any enemy defenses.

I don’t care about a couple of minor ambushes in a low intensity conflict like Iraq or Afghanistan . I’m talking about a massive conventional war. Like one Russia is getting its ass kicked at by US hand me down weapon systems right now.

This is what the world looks like to the American military

You probably live no more than a few miles from a U.S. military base :lolbron:
Don't forget that the US used the F-117 Nighthawk (the first operational stealth aircraft) to bomb Iraqi AA facilities at night. They were one of the main reasons why there were so few aviation casualties in the war.

SOHH ICEY MONOPOLY

Its actually an nazi term :mjpls:

Every time I start feeling overly sympathetic for the Ukrainians (the militas and the regular army, not the innocent people) I remember that they're almost all on that time.

Seen a thread a few days ago were there signs posted on military bases in Germany were the Ukies are receiving tank training and other things that went something like:

"ATTENTION UKRAINIAN FRIENDS, REMEMBER DURING YOUR STAY THAT IN GERMANY DISPLAYING ANY FASCIST SYMBOLS SUCH AS A SWASTIKA OR SS LIGHTNING LOGO CARRIES UP TO A 3 YEAR PRISON TERM"

I sincerely hope they win but you had mfers on here literally yelling (supposedly black folk too :mjpls:) Slava Ukraini and all types of ridiculous shyt. We are literally supporting them the same way we supported Iraq against Iran in the 80s and thats it in my eyes, all that extra shyt is embarrasing

Edit: The Russians do be calling them Hohols tho which is roughly translated as crest headed or wheat picker. Sounds familiar :mjpls:

Let them fight

Reality has hit the United Kingdom...

Vladimir Putin is about to make shock gains Russia has stopped the bleeding and learned from its mistakes. We must be prepared for a nasty blow

I haven’t read Telegraph in a while. But the British media has toned down the idiotic propaganda for a few months now despite the government still being a tad hawkish. BBC started with its open source information. It seems Telegraph is also towing that path as well. Interestingly, The Guardian which has always been the apolitical paper (to an extent) has been the most hawkish with propaganda.

A lot is at stake in Ukraine & wherever the dominoes fall - it will become a geopolitical reset & have lasting implications globally.

I still think Putin didn’t execute his military plans properly based on how he gave the propaganda machine too much ammunition at the beginning albeit he handled the economics side perfectly. Then again, it’s still too early to understand what he’s thinking & at least he has kept Russian regular forces almost intact.

I just hope the global reset happens soon to rid the world off these vampires, so there can be more equity & less powerful countries can have more options - rather accepting slavery with the barrel of a gun on their heads.

China would also have to step up & escalate a bit. Then Iran & Saudi Arabia joining BRICS would be the icing on the cake.

How far we come with war footage. We went from seeing WW2, Vietnam, and Desert Storm videos to be an enlightening experience of how war is hell.

Present time, you hear "oomsk oomsk" techno bullshyt to brains getting blown up, guts exposed, and villages burnt to a crisp.

:francis: Revelation times...
