The Truth
idk how soldiers for the most part seem to keep any measure of composure as chaotic as war is…not even trying to be funny when I say I be panicking just playing call of duty…I can’t help but think I’d probably completely shutdown under these circumstances in real life
Boi when the heat is on you better not freeze up next to me:ufdup:

I will blast your ass and take your shyt if it’s gonna be like that… no homo

Wait shouldn’t reconnaissance drones make trench warfare obsolete? You can simply send out drones, find the enemy positions and annihilate them with precision mortar fire. No need to even put yourself in harms way.

Russians are fighting this war on hard mode. You can’t stupidly throw troops on the battlefield and hope for the best

Thats how Russians have always fought, they dont have strategic advantages they have always had man power advantages....and they dont care about casualties to there own ppl...

Nobody is saying that the US military is invincible, so take that idea off of your projection. Even the US military overstands this and implements it within it's battle doctrine.

Does Russia do this?
Russia closing in on 200,000 casualties in a year...

Would you care to speak on that? For realreal, break that shyt down for me like I'm the idiot you say I am.
Get your shyt systematically dismantled by @Orbital-Fetus, brehs... :skip:

No need for that & it’s unnecessary. I don’t want to make grown men cry.

I didn’t post about Russia on the thread - my initial post was about a delusional poster who thinks trench warfare is obsolete when it isn’t. Especially if sophisticated/complex AD & SAMs are involved. Your fellow Americans dragged me to Russia.

Russia has its limitations just as the US has its limitations. And since I belong to neither parties - it’s my responsibility to point out America’s glaring limitations.

BTW, the 200k figure is propaganda.

BBC’s open source confirmation put the total Russian death in Ukraine at 10k in Dec & about 12k in January:

The BBC’s Russian Service, Mediazona, and volunteers working with open source data have confirmed that, as of December 9, 10,002 Russian service members have been killed in Ukraine

^ISW is a Pentagon mouthpiece owned by Nuland & her husband. Read the link in the article.

MOSSAD put Russian death in January at 16-18k & Ukraine at over 150k.

The US lost more than that in Vietnam.

No, it’s the same offensive. It’s the Battle of Khasham & it’s in Deir ez-Zor province. You’re the one who doesn’t know what you’re talking about. Take your L.
Multiple battles can take place within an offensive. :skip:
We are referring to a specific battle that you are trying to both trying to avoid and distort facts about.

The only thing you own are dumb people who’re hoodwinked by your propaganda. Even your hawks in Pentagon know where it ends despite all the posturing in the media.
Please tell us how it ends. :skip:
You should only be brazen enough to say that when you finally win a war. Till then, shut ya mouth. You’ll wrecked by a host of countries out there & you know who to pick on.

Sounds like Russia. :skip:

The last time the US and the Russians scraped it was in 2018 Syria and the Russians got lit the fukk up with the only US wounded was from having thumb numbness from pressing the buttons too fast. The US has no peer.:skip:

The artillery barrage was so intense that the US commandos dived into foxholes for protection, emerging covered in flying dirt and debris to fire back at a column of tanks advancing under the heavy shelling. It was the opening salvo in a nearly four-hour assault in February by around 500 pro-Syrian government forces – including Russian mercenaries – that threatened to inflame already simmering tensions between Washington and Moscow.
In the end, 200 to 300 of the attacking fighters were killed. The others retreated under merciless air strikes from the US, returning later to retrieve their battlefield dead. None of the Americans at the small outpost in eastern Syria – about 40 by the end of the firefight – were harmed.

Half an hour later, the Russian mercenaries and Syrian forces struck.

The Conoco outpost was hit with a mixture of tank fire, large artillery and mortar rounds, the documents show. The air was filled with dust and shrapnel. The US commandos took cover, then ran behind dirt berms to fire anti-tank missiles and machine guns at the advancing column of armoured vehicles.

For the first 15 minutes, US military officials called their Russian counterparts and urged them to stop the attack. When that failed, US troops fired warning shots at a group of vehicles and a howitzer.

Still the troops advanced.

US warplanes arrived in waves, including Reaper drones, F-22 stealth fighter jets, F-15E Strike Fighters, B-52 bombers, AC-130 gunships and AH-64 Apache helicopters. For the next three hours, US officials said, scores of strikes pummelled enemy troops, tanks and other vehicles. Marine rocket artillery was fired from the ground.

Imagine US soldiers storming a trench without the entire front line being glassed for days on end while supported by round the clock air strikes and artillery fire. Imagine infantry advancing without tank support. :heh:

Compare the US military to a bunch of barely trained convicts in a country where the life expectancy for males is 60 and the leading cause of death is alcohol poisoning.

yeah, russian mercenaries got their shyt rocked.

One of the most swept under the rug stories of the last 5 years :sas2:

10,000 killed in one year is more than Afghanistan and Iraq combined over 20 years :skip:

There was only one Battle of Khasham.

True. We shall see how it ends.
