It’s really hilarious how Hispanics are so jealous of black culture.

I'm neither Panamanian nor 'daft'.

You tried to disparage Black MC's AS A WHOLE by using a Puerto Rican rapper/singer.

I didn’t. At no point in this thread did I do so. Lol black Americans created hip hop. Show me where I said otherwise?

You can’t. Latinos and Jamaican influence? Of course. Creation? Absolutely not.

You keep trying to circle the wagons because you can’t answer my questions. You’ve been defeated multiple times here.

Black Panamanians who would actually have legitimate beef with bad bunny, don’t. You as a black American feel insecure and inadequacy that a musical phenom is happening and you can’t see yourself within it. So you like many who have spent a decade online attempt to wedge your race into the equation, much like Fat Joes weird ass did with hip hop. Both need mental health support

I didn’t. At no point in this thread did I do so.

I can’t find a hip hop act on the highest grossing tours this decade but I see Bad Bunny :umad:

Actually I don’t see any hip hop acts anywhere in the top ten regardless of decade
The bolded is important since it was created by Black people. So, when you say 'regardless of decade', that includes EVERY artist since it's inception in the 70's......who were ALL Black and are, presently, the overwhelming majority of present performers.

If you didn't mean it that way, we can end this right now.

I already explained that. The top tours per a decade not yearly. Tina Turner is there. But no hip hop acts. Bad Bunny is there.

You refuse to read. And your presence here only confirms what you’ve failed to answer and have ignored.

Again you want to gatekeep bad bunny’s success when reggaeton was created by Black Panamanians and Jamaicans who aren’t upset at his success. Domi’s salute Jamaicans when it comes to their influence in dembow. But here you are as a black American upset? Why?

I understand where the OP's coming from. I haven't read through the whole thread & don't know if this has been said but most latinos try to jack our style meaning Black peoples swag. Whether it be fashion, slang, or our energy, they most definitely steal & try to imitate us. To the point where Fat Joe & others like him think they helped create hip hop which is a damn lie lol.

What I have an issue with is some of these same latinos that try to imitate us are racist AF & adopt white supremacist ideals
The fact that latinos (more specifically puertoricans) helped create hip hop culture is undeniable. There probably weren't many puertorican mc's, but there were definitely alot of puertorican djs, graffiti artists and breakdancers.

You could even argue that dominicans helped shape the evolution of hip hop in the late 80s and early 90s due to them being largely responsible for the crack epidemic in NYC, which, believe it or not, inspired a whole era of hip hop and some of the best rappers are a result of these circumstances.

Maybe latinos didn't participate DIRECTLY in the creation of hip hop (except puertoricans), but they definitely influenced in some way shape or form the culture. Remember that hip hop was birthed in the Bronx in the late 70s and the Bronx had a huge puertorican population that lived in the same neighborhoods as black people and went to the same public schools. Saying that latinos had absolutely NO influence in the creation of the culture is a straight up lie.

Now, music genre's like funk, soul, jazz, blues and rock and roll are 100% black. There's 0 influence from the latin community in those genre's. Unlike hip hop, these genre's came from 100% black communities.

Both highlighted are 100% false. By the late 70's, hip was already in full swing. It was created in the early 70's by AA's from the Bronx. As early as 73 Coke La Rock (AA from the Bronx) was the first emcee on the mic rocking these parties in the early 70's. AA's were already break dancing (Black Spades in particular) but they weren't calling it that. There were no PR's or other latinos participating in it before 75. This is well documented. They just latched on because they liked the culture & swag even back then

Hispanics don't have a recorded history of music creation like that, it's just not their thing. African slaves came with the Salsa and chacha cha etc..they're still practicing That to this day. Reggaeton etc are not their either.
I'd believe your point if Latinos were k own to be creators of musical artforms.

Lol this site is FILLED with idiots when it comes to Latinos

None of you have no idea what you're talking about. Most of you don't know the difference between a Mexican and a dominican. It's eye opening how ignorant most people are to Hispanics in the United States

I love this site but damn, what a bunch of retards when it comes to this subject

I don't think any Latino group out there cares to differentiate between Black people either..

They have their own music but reggaeton, dembow, and Latin trap are hugely influenced by black American culture.

No they don't have their own music, it's all Black in origin
