No Black countries with nukes is the main killer. Only one Black diaspora country even has a nuclear power plant (South Africa).

There's one side of me that wants to call out this line of thinking as c00n brained and another side of me that recognizes that we have been indoctrinated to see the world through the cacs pov. This line of thinking could be from ignorance or a perspective.

Define prosperous.

Like a G7 or G20 country?

There could, but Africa can't capitalize on their mineral wealth and a lot of their smartest leave to go elsewhere. Can't say that if I was born there I wouldn't leave, but as I get older I have a desire to live in Africa and I would probably make a serious effort if I didn't think Africa wasn't about to go through a similar recolonization in the near future.

Ghana is planning on constructing its first nuclear power plant in 2027.

Ghana is preparing to make its first foray into nuclear energy, targeting 2027 to begin construction of its first nuclear plant on a dual-site designed to diversify the country’s power mix.

  • Ghana plans to begin construction of its first nuclear power plant by 2027 to diversify its energy mix.
  • Two sites have been identified for the facilities, with one hosting a larger power plant and the other a smaller industrial facility.
  • The Ministry of Energy and Green Transition is currently preparing, including acquiring the land for the projects.
  • Ghana’s nuclear initiative aligns with Africa’s broader trend toward adopting nuclear energy to remedy power deficits.

That will propel the country forward by a large margin.

Also read my earlier post on Ghana and their quest for Nuclear Power:

I know Russia has a deal with the Ghanaian government to train it's students in nuclear engineering. They even go as far as to offer them free training/education.

But it makes sense that Russia would try to unite with a few African countries because that relationship could/will help them in the long run.

Ghana is in the process of choosing a site for their nuclear reactor, and are set to choose one by/before the end of 2022.

Jamaica was on its was to being one 50 years ago. The Jamaican dollar used to be higher than the US at one point and had some of the lowest crime rates in the world. Then it all went south and became the mess that it is today.
