I know this is all late news, but I never paid attention to this shyt until now.
I know it was funny to make fun of how :flabbynsick: he got, but i never knew the reality of his situation.

He was sexually assaulted by the President of The Hollywood Foreign Press Association in 2003.

They tried to pass it off as a joke, and wanted him to sign a joint statement agreeing it was a joke, and but didn't tell him that he was signing a statement that agreed with their findings.

So they ruined his career and The Whale movie in 2023 was basically Hollywood saying "my bad" to him.

He didn't go to the Golden Globes for never receiving an official apology.

Clearly that dude touched him inappropriately, he wasn't okay with it at the time and his career suffered because of it.

I don't even understand what you're arguing at this point.
