This is the second consecutive day the city has at least tied its daily heat record. Monday's high of 118 tied a record set in 2016. It's likely that streak will continue.

Wednesday's forecast calls for a high of 117. The record for June 21 is 115, set in 2008.

I had to switch planes in Phoenix one time, that heat that was coming through the plane was
