It's so sad how Meek fell off when he used to make fire songs like this

:comeon: do you want me to post some songs from his new album that have the same style like the ones you just posted? In every project he's released he has the hype, loud tracks and then the slow, calm tracks. There is literally no difference except for the flow on a couple of songs.

nah you dont have to, it dont really mean that much to me tbh.

4/4 and literally all the dc4 teasers got the tripletime flow ish, thats what he is running with now.

Fell off? 4/4 was great and DWTM was a decent project as well

I think DWMTM was his best all around project to date, it was his first somewhat cohesive project and showed some diversity also. I wasn't really a Meek fan but he's won me over, he's shown a lot of growth as an artist. It seems like people are just buying into this Drake and 50 shyt so much they're overlooking that he's put out some of his best music in the last year.

EDIT: I know I'll get crucified for this on here, but DWMTM was actually my favorite album last year (and that's saying a lot for me like I said I was not even close to a Meek fan and I'm from Philly but I couldn't rock with his earlier shyt that much), ironically followed by Drake IYRTITL, I know Kendrick's album was the most important and powerful album by far, but it's just a tough listen for me, it's like a really good movie that you can only watch every couple years cause it's just so heavy, which isn't a knock on it, it's a work of art but just too much for me to take in regularly.

He didn't really fall off, his music still bangs, he just didn't evolve

If someone started listening to meek's music today they would still thinks it's fire, but if you have been following him for a while you know it's gotten stale
