I don't see why it's crazy. Technology advancements aren't what they used to be. Shrinking a chip die used to net massive gains and a reduction in the price of components and now not so much. Add to that AI causing shortages and tariffs and yeah stuff will go up.Not only that but the prices increased.
We’re truly in a different era. I remember back in 2003 my Mom got me the GameCube collection that came with the classic Zelda games for $99. $99 adjusted for inflation today is $174. They were practically giving those things away.
I’m struggling to think what the PS6 will cost at launch. Cause there’s no way they’ll launch it at $699.99 like the Pro right?
