She's had a few songs, but PrimeTime may be the only song she'll say she truly contributed to the game with...and I've been a fan of hers when she was dong open mics and being uncredited as a vocalist on Stankonia/Dungeon Family songs.

Meanwhile I've seen her do festivals live and kill it with her band. Had people that didn't know her music jamming out.
She unlike most new rap and rnb acts can eat of performance. You don't want to see ya average chart topper live because it's sad and hilarious. She is far from done.

I know this...but janelle has music generic enough to rock a "crowd" that doesn't know her music. Thats not necessarily a good thing.

Everyone is not trying to be Taylor Swift or Rihanna. Her latest song was her biggest song too, so if we go by historic data it might "Happen".
It seems like she is happy with what she is doing, she's getting great reviews, has her fanbase that she can continuously grow if she keeps on being innovative and dropping good music.
Having multiple #1 records etc is not for everyone. It was pretty given that it wouldn't happen, she came out like she was an indie artist or something.
