00 did I play myself .? W2**
is it better to have a tax preparer or just use turbo tax. there's a woman in my area that be getting ppl 5-9 grand back on their taxes.
That sounds about right...0 and making 50k you shouldn't expect much back. Unless you were putting some in a 401K or retirement that would have lowered your taxable income.
Bullshyt....either they are really poor or they make 6 figures and pay alot of taxes...nikkas will mostly likely be audited on some BS. Do your own taxes...unless you own some properties or multiple businesses.
so it makes me think this 2016 year its gonna be alot more if that was just 3 monthsI havent gotten my W2 for it yet but at my job last year i only made say $8000 minimum the entire year
But i know my federal withholding will be low.
So do you have a general idea of how much i would get back?
im gonna claim my sister but im talking about before i claim her like for me myself
For the same job in 2015, i started working there in the middle of October and then from that time to December 2015....my federal withhold came to only $39 but i got back $900 plus dollarsso it makes me think this 2016 year its gonna be alot more if that was just 3 months

If you made less than 10k you're not obligated to file taxes...I would though if you see they took any out for federal or state. If you made that little might be better for someone in your family that made over 10k to claim her for max benefits.![]()
do you have any general idea of what I will get back?
Cant get into details but im the only one who can. Plus only my immediate family lives with us or around us and im the only one who can do it..
But breh!!do you have any general idea of what I will get back?
no other sources of income...just my W2
You don't have the exact income you received this year and the exact number you had withheld for tax?
If your in the first 4 years you can qualify for American Opportunity Credit which reduces your tax liability dollar for dollar and up to a 1000 of it is refundable. Your going to need the 1098-T from your school and it should have atleast two boxes filled Amounts billed for tuition and expenses and Scholarships and grants. Your going to want the amounts billed to be higher than the aid you received and if it isn't you can claim some of the Aid as taxable income to receive the full credit but you will have to pay state taxes on the AIDHow do I get the student credit?
appreciate the feedback and reply breh. I realized i took 3k out my 401k which is probably why. Usually i get at least a thou back. That sounds about right...0 and making 50k you shouldn't expect much back. Unless you were putting some in a 401K or retirement that would have lowered your taxable income.
