I find it wild how this generation is extremely comfortable to ask strangers they never met for money.

I have a theory a lot of this is fuelled by sex workers having so much sway/say-so on a communal scale. From tv to music, to social platforms - a lot of the messaging to brehettes is sex work adjacent. These are the fruits of years of incessant "I let a nikka fukk if he show me $$". Normal women have allowed sex workers to influence/dictate their romantic relationship dynamics/expectations.
The whole "chase a bag" mentality has resulted in a bunch of shameless, no morals, individualistic and entitled hooligans.
