My sister went straight to just streamers and relied exclusively on the fire stick and smart TV 3 years ago. I've gone from not messing with any of em to paying for Peacock, Apple, Amazon, and mooching off the others til they get crazy with password sharing and then I might need those too. I was arguing with a friend of mine who pretty much pirates or gets everything for the low and he thinks I'm a fool for not cutting the cord. I used to pirate certain shows, but especially with Disney, if you download anything that belongs to them, they'll try to cut your internet off.

I stuck with cable, not because I can't use a smart TV or whatever, because I pay for my parents' stuff and they watch channels you can't use an app for (and if they did, they wouldn't know how. My pops (RIP) I had to give him tutorials from the stadium on how to get onto Amazon Prime to watch Yankee games). The worst thing about these services is that it seems like each services has 1-2 things I may like, but with these prices it adds up. Only good thing is that my adblock works on these streamers on the computer.
