I need something that’s not on the phone and minimum meetings. My current job I’m free the majority of the day so I could easily take on a data entry job. I’m just not sure how my job would respond. Even if it’s not in the same industry.

I really need a part time supervisor position that’s remote
I could probably do the same. I have random times where I'll hit the gym for a couple of hours or just take a long ass nap since my job doesn't monitor as much.

Apple University isn't a thing anymore I believe.

The app has been unusable for years and I believe they're completely shutting down at the end of the year.

i bet they probably suck at all 4 of them

at a certain point you producing diminishing returns unless you only consume Adderall or something
With how toxic work culture is nowadays, the bosses don't care or notice. And it'll still be better quality than outsoucing.

They'll just have some poor misguided drone who takes pride in their work pick up the slack for no real return.

And then they'll hand the promotion/raise over to the lazy subpar mfer in the first place because they hit some meaningless ass metric determined by a soulless AI program.

It seems like tech is taking over. I’ve wanted to dip into the tech world for a few years now.. but honestly, I wouldn’t even know where to begin, or what to look into learning. I can’t afford to just go back to studying all the time and not having any income coming in. I’m 43 :old: with a kid. So shyts stressful.

He didn't get started until he was 46.

Brooklyn keeps on taking it.
This is me, lol

I work full time remotely as an Accountant(CPA), and I have a part time job as a UX designer

I took on a second contract job during tax season too

I’m taking this course right now on Google as we speak. I’m on week 3 and told myself I would freelance this job while being a full time auditor

I’m a UX researcher. At my job the UX designer is typically required to watch the sessions with participants

How do you like being a researcher? How is it compared to designer? Also do you have a general expertise or broad?
I like it a lot. I’m strictly a researcher. Researchers typically need specialized degrees, but designers just have to have a certificate and a portfolio. I have to run sessions with substantial probing, in front of many people. At first it was nerve racking, but you get used to performing. Designers are more solitary, but when the UX researcher comes in, they are critically testing your designs, and oftentimes you get negative feedback. This upsets young designers, so you just have to look at it as an iterative process. Yeah, your first designs may have tested poorly, but the feedback you get helps make the product better. So, basically try and not get offended, defensive or demoralized. Everybody’s designs suck in the beginning

Designers only. At ever UX researcher job I’ve had, you need at least a master’s in a related field. shyt, many of my co-workers have PhDs (me included)
